Master of Ceremonies

Board Member, LIN Center for Community Development

Since its establishment with only 60 members in 1998, the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) has grown to represent nearly 1.000 European businesses, counting among its supporters many of the world's leading enterprises. With offices in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and since 2016 with a Chapter in Central Vietnam based in Danang, EuroCham’s mission is to represent the business interests of our members in Vietnam and to improve the business environment in the country or the benefit of all players. EuroCham has currently 16 Sector Committees where members can exchange information and constructively raise their key concerns and formulate recommendations to Vietnamese policy makers. Annually EuroCham publishes a Whitebook – a comprehensive overview of key trade and investment concerns faced by European enterprises in Vietnam. (More information about EuroCham at: www.eurochamvn.org.)
The Ho Chi Minh City Association for Women Executives & Entrepreneurs (HAWEE) is the city’s first professional organisation for women. HAWEE’s mission is to help Vietnamese women grow their businesses. HAWEE seeks to increase trade opportunities and investment exchanges for its members and facilitates this by connecting HCMC businesswomen to one another, and to international entrepreneurs and organisations. HAWEE also works to improve its members’ leadership capabilities, and offers them tips and advice on how to balance their personal lives and their businesses.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet local not-for-profit organizations (NPOs) that are based in Ho Chi Minh City each working on important issues that affect community and business, including access and education, childcare protection, environment, vocational training, healthcare, sanitation, disaster relief, traffic, poverty and more. We are grateful to the 12 NPOs participating in this event who are engaged or interested to partner with the business community. Click on the logos below to visit the NPOs' websites.
